EMI/RFI Sheilding |
EMI/RFI shielding consists of a uniform, non-decorative, highly conductive film of copper and nickel. The purpose of this coating is to provide protection to electronic equipment from receiving or transmitting electro-magnetic and radio frequency interference. These frequencies pass through plastic as easily as light through clear glass unless the plastic is made conductive with a highly conductive coating. Let us evaluate your application. |
PRO-TEC currently offers highly decorative, bright electroplated chrome and 24-Karat gold. We are currently producing parts molded in ABS, ABS/Polycarbonate blends, Polycarbonate, Xenoy 1732(PBT/PC blend), and Polyester-carbonate. We are also investigating two other finishes. One is a satin finish of chrome or gold and the other is a very dark, high metallic luster finish, which is also corrosion resistant. If you do not see listed the Resin or Finish that you are interested in, please ask us to evaluate it for you. |
